a) For a triathlete to compete at their best, they need to be healthy. Junk foods are not very preferable as a lot of them contain a lot of fat and sugars. Salads are lots of protein is ideal. Sleep is also very important, going to sleep at decent hours should be done. You should also be quite fit, as during the triathlon you will not break down or become very fatigue. Before the triathlon, you should have Lo-GI foods, and after you should eat Hi-GI foods to get back the energy that you have lost. Overall, the triathlete should make sure that they do not skip any meals or get lack of sleep.
b) I am prepared to perform my best during the triathlon, so I have a healthy diet and good sleep at night. I will not skip any meals or go to sleep at very late hours. I will also do regular exercise and become more fit.
